Terms of Service

About Preachly.io
Preachly.io is a church engagement platform designed to help churches put everything from a service — sermon slides, worship songs, scripture, notes, announcements, giving, and next steps — behind one simple link their congregation opens on their phone. By using Preachly.io, you agree to these Terms of Service.
Acceptable Use
Preachly.io is built specifically for churches, faith communities, and ministry organizations. By using the platform, you agree to:
- Use the platform only for lawful purposes
- Upload content you own or have rights to share
- Not use the platform to distribute harmful, illegal, or offensive content
- Keep your account credentials secure
- Not attempt to reverse engineer or misuse the platform
Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you upload to Preachly.io — sermon slides, images, song lists, notes, and links. By uploading content, you grant Preachly.io a limited license to store, display, and deliver that content to the audiences you share it with through the platform.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to share any content you upload, including slide images, song titles, and linked resources.
Using Your Church's Name and Logo
By using Preachly.io, you grant us a limited, revocable, royalty-free license to use your church's name and logo to identify you as a Preachly.io customer — for example, in a "churches using Preachly.io" section of our website, in marketing materials, and in investor or partner communications. We'll use your branding respectfully and only to reference your use of Preachly.io.
If you'd prefer we not use your name or logo this way, just email [email protected] and we'll remove it.
Welcome Assistant and AI Features
Preachly.io offers an optional, paid add-on called the Welcome Assistant — an AI-powered chat a church may add to its Preachly.io pages. It reads the church's own website (and any additional links the church provides) to help answer visitors' questions and point them to the right page or to contact the church.
If you enable the Welcome Assistant, you agree that:
- You are responsible for the website and materials you direct it to read, and you represent that you have the right to have that content read and used to generate responses.
- You decide whether to enable it on a given page and which contact email receives visitor messages.
- You are responsible for reviewing its setup and for how it is used on your pages.
AI-generated responses. The Welcome Assistant generates responses automatically using artificial intelligence. Responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date and should not be relied upon in place of confirming information directly with the church. The Welcome Assistant does not provide pastoral, counseling, medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice, and its responses do not represent the official position of the church or of Preachly.io. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Preachly.io makes no warranty regarding the accuracy or reliability of AI-generated responses and is not liable for actions taken in reliance on them.
Availability and limits. The Welcome Assistant is subject to usage limits and to the availability of underlying AI and third-party services, which may change or be discontinued.
Free Plan
Preachly.io may offer a no-credit-card Free plan with one published page. New Free workspaces may receive a 14-day period of expanded feature access. After that period, the page can remain live and editable, while designated features become unavailable unless the workspace upgrades or purchases an applicable add-on.
Content and settings associated with a feature may remain stored when that feature becomes unavailable. For example, a saved page texture or Notebook content may remain preserved without being displayed on the Free page. Free-plan usage limits, including upload allowances, are shown in the product and may change prospectively. We will provide reasonable notice when a material change affects existing Free accounts.
Subscription and Billing
Preachly.io offers paid subscription plans billed monthly or annually, at the rate you select. A paid subscription may begin with a 7-day free trial when that offer is shown at checkout. After the trial period, your payment method will be charged at the plan rate on a recurring basis until cancelled. This is separate from the no-card Free plan.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.
Some features are offered as optional paid add-ons (for example, the Welcome Assistant) that are billed together with your subscription. Add-ons are charged on the same recurring cycle as your plan and end when you remove the add-on or cancel the underlying subscription. Promotional discounts, when applied, are shown at checkout along with their duration.
Billing is handled securely by Stripe. Preachly.io does not store your payment card information.
Service Availability
We work hard to keep Preachly.io available and reliable. However, we do not guarantee 100% uptime. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability, and we will communicate significant downtime in advance when possible.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abuse, or use the platform in ways inconsistent with its intended purpose. You may also close your account at any time by contacting us.
Limitation of Liability
Preachly.io is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Preachly.io's operating entity is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Preachly.io will be handled in the courts located there. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify account holders. Your continued use of Preachly.io after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
